HI TO ALL IT HAS BEEN AGES SINCE IVE UPDATED THE WEB SITE. THIS IS DUE TO SOME MAJOR COMPUTER PROBLEMS. I THINK IVE GOT ALL THAT STUFF FIXED NOW AND I CAN FINAL START TO LOOK AT GETTING SOME LONG OVER DUE CHANGES MADE TO THE SITE. THANKS SHAUN JARVIS We have been since 1986. Freestyle Now was born in 1986 when three friends who loved their sport of bicycle freestyle decided to start a bicycle stunt team. Georg Molnar, Brad Dyer and Shaun Jarvis wanted to be able to show off to the mass public that they loved about the sport of bicycle freestyle. Back then the sport was very different to what it has become today. With in a few years both Georg and Brad had moved on from the sport but Shaun could not as his passion for his bike was too strong to let go. This has been and still is the driving force behind Shaun and Freestyle Now. |

Since 1986 Freestyle Now has continually pushed the sport of bicycle freestyle in Western Australia. The main way this has been achieved has been from performing bicycle stunt shows and managing and organizing bicycle stunt competitions. Freestyle Now has also been responsible for producing a mini magazine (zine) and producing a TV show called "Behind the bars" that aired on public television. Freestyle Now has also got its own portable ramps/skatepark that can be set up in any event allowing for bicycle stunt riding in any location. |

Freestyle Now started to organise bicycle stunt competitions in 1987 and managed competitions in 1988, 1989 and 1990. Bicycle freestyle riding died out after that until the late 90's when it started to grow again. In 1997 Freestyle Now once again started to organise and manage bicycle freestyle competitions in the Perth area. Some of these competitions have been the biggest competitions in Perth and some have been very low key. The most successful of these competitions has been the Joondalup festival which Freestyle Now has had a great association with since the festival started in 1999. This competition is a two day event. Freestyle Now is now running a state series of bicycle stunt competitions. Freestyle Now has managed bicycle stunt competitions for many local government councils. A full list of competitions can be found on the competitions records page or a list of organizations that have used our services can be found on the clients page |

With
the amount of years of experience that Freestyle Now and its squad riders
has in the sport of bicycle freestyle it only natural that we wish to
pass on that knowledge to the new riders in the sport. This is why Freestyle
Now hosts workshops and coaching clinics. These workshops are fun, informative
and motivational. The squad members let the participants ride at their
own level and they encourage progression. To find out more about the workshops
follow the links to that page. |
