SHAUN JARVIS | RYAN GARDINER | KIE ASHWORTH | | ||
Jason Parker Ive known Jason or I should say that Jason has known me from when he was only six years old. Jason is one of my best friends. He is a well mannered dude who is always willing to help someone. Jason saw me back in August 1986 at what was I think my first freestyle show. It was at Whiteman Park when I was with the Redline trick team. Fast forward to 1998 and I get a phone call from Jason asking if I wanted to ride with him. Jason had always seemed to miss on seeing me at various shows that I had done but after some detective work he managed to track me down. He told me that he rode flatland and I was always willing to ride with someone as I had rode by myself for to long, So we started to ride together. I was blown away by his precise riding skills. On the mark and tight as hell was his riding, and even after all this time he still has that precise skill and he never settles for any thing less. It was by chance that I was showing Jason my photo album that he saw a photo of me airing the quarterpipe at the Whiteman park show back in 1986. He said that he saw that show when he was 6 years old, We both freaked out. That was just an awesome thing for both of us. I was really needing another rider to ride in shows with me and Jason was the perfect rider to fill that spot. Jason has grown into a great friend and I really value his friendship. His riding skills have always stayed the same, precise smooth and flowing. I enjoy riding with Jason and I am glad that he is a member of the freestyle now stunt squad as brings a unique style of riding with him that I really love to watch. - Shaun Jarvis - |
